Here is the beautiful and distinguished Meg, a very curious quarterhorse mare of about 20 years. She ended up at the shelter after being abandoned. When Meg arrived at the shelter, she was fearful of humans, but since then, she has opened up and proved to be a patient mare on the ground and in good physical shape with lots of energy. Thus, she can be worked in the arena and ridden in a non-intensive way. From what we know, Meg has been regularly saddle ridden in recent years. She allows herself to be well handled by the different specialists at the shelter, but remains fearful when hands approach her head.
Meg deserves a forever home that will offer her a stable place and a respectful way to expend her energy. Her curious and lively personality makes her an ideal companion for those looking for a special relationship with a horse.
